What Age Children Do You Accept for Content Camp?
We currently accept children from 5th grade through high school. If your child is "on the border" of one of the age ranges, let's chat. This age range is just a guideline for us. Some kids are more advanced/mature than others and can fit nicely with the rest of the group even at a younger age.
What is the Time Commitment to Join?
We would like the kids to attend their weekly podcast recording session (currently we record the show on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm). We also would like the kids to attend one video editing/production lesson per week (a 50-minute, one-on-one lesson).
How Can My Child Try Content Camp Before Committing?
We would love to have your child come be a guest crew member on any of our shows!! Use this registration form to get the process started!
What Will My Child Learn at Content Camp?
Our first priority is to emphasize and develop interpersonal skills like conversational skills, public speaking, teamwork and problem solving. Secondarily, the kids all learn the technical aspects of producing a video/audio podcast, including lighting, camera work, audio engineering, scripting, directing and editing.
